George Washington Patriot's First 100 Club

                 Since 1964 George Washington High School has been a leader in High School athletics. It has a rich history for excellence and many championship programs. The GW Football program has traditionally been supported by grassroots efforts and countless volunteers throughout the South Hills and Charleston area. This support and commitment by our football family has aided in continued athletic success for the Patriots. In order to maintain and build upon this success and to ensure the Patriots remain at the forefront of high school athletics, the George Washington Football Boosters are embarking on a new initiative.

                  Both in the classroom and on the field, there has been much to celebrate over the years. In the classroom, the student-athlete has contributed to George Washington High School consistently being named the number one high school in West Virginia for academics. While in competition, GW football has a rich tradition of success which includes numerous playoff appearances and a State Championship Title. Outstanding accomplishments like these start with our football donors and a new initiative called the “First 100 Club”.

 

 

                   The First 100 Club will cost $150.00 and will provide funding for athletic equipment, uniforms and practice attire, nutrition services which help feed our players before competitions, strength and conditioning, and a desperately needed new scoreboard at the Steve Edwards Sr. Field. The generosity of the First 100 members allow us to to fund these initiatives while helping GW football continue to be the model program that it is today.

 

 

                    Also as a member of the First 100 Club you will receive a wrist band giving you access to a Pre-Game tailgate located in the fieldhouse, premium seating close to the 50 yard line, and a 1st 100 polo shirt and hat that helps you elevate your game day experience.

 

 

                    The Patriot family is strong and we are confident that this new club will allow our football program to reach new and exciting heights. If you are not currently a member, we urge you to join and support the “First 100 Club”. The GW football boosters are dedicated to doing everything possible to ensure funding for GW football and that it will be on a solid footing for years to come.
